Going south on Snokomo Road a few miles and then west on Boothill Road about five miles, one
can see herds of beef cattle that graze the blue stem slopes.

Getting up closer, one soon realizes why grazing in lieu of wheat and corn, adorns a good portion
of the Flint Hills.  Second photo from left is a familiar Nighthawk as he watches over the prairie.

A stark contrast from seeing these same slopes from a distance, and especially
later in the Summer, when the grass is taller and these stones and rocks are not so visible.
